Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – Sephiroth DLC, Update 10.1 Now Available

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate - Sephiroth

The One-Winged Angel has finally come to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, at least for those who didn’t unlock him in advance. Sephiroth from Final Fantasy 7 is available now as part of Challenger Pack 8. The pack also offers a new stage, Northern Cave, and nine new music tracks, several being remixes of classic tunes.

New Mii Costumes like Tifa’s Outfit, Aerith’s Outfit and even Geno from Super Mario RPG are also available to purchase separately. All owners of the game can download the version 10.1 update. This adds new Spirits, namely the entire supporting cast of Final Fantasy 7 like Tifa, Barret, Aerith, Cid, Cait Sith and even summons like Shiva and Ifrit.

If that weren’t enough, the update also changes Cloud’s Final Smash into Omnislash Ver. 5 to mirror the iconic scene from Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children. This is only for his 2P, 4P, 6P and 8P color variations and still works the same as the regular Omnislash. For more details on the update, check out the patch notes here.
