Tales Of Arise Gets New Gameplay Trailer Ahead Of September 10 Release Date

Bandai Namco today released a new trailer for Tales of Arise, showing off some of the side quests and activities you can get lost in between your adventures. From fishing and cooking to camping and chatting with teammates, "The Spirit of Adventure" trailer shows there's more to Tales of Arise than cutting down foes.

Tales of Arise is slated to release on September 10 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. We've seen plenty of gameplay footage leading up to its launch, but this is the first time we've had an easily digestible way to check out all the activities you can partake in while not out saving the world.

Fishing and camping footage had previously aired during a two-hour developer walkthrough, but it's great to see Tales of Arise getting a new trailer that specifically highlights non-combat activities for you and your party. You can check out the relaxing action below:

Earlier this month, Bandai Namco revealed the opening animation for Tales of Arise – a two-minute montage of our heroes cutting down monsters and backed by a blistering soundtrack. Expect to see more footage drop in the coming weeks, as we slowly inch towards its official release in September.

Beyond Tales of Arise, Bandai Namco has to be happy with the numbers put up by another game in its roster – Guilty Gear Strive. It was recently revealed that the title has passed 500K in sales, and it even revealed a new DLC character earlier this month. Scarlet Nexus is also doing well for the company, with mostly positive reviews on Metacritic.

Our early hands-on preview of the game revealed plenty to be excited about when it comes to combat, although it's unclear if the rest of its world is as developed. Here's hoping the story, map, and characters give us a reason to return beyond the tense real-time action.
