Very has by far the cheapest Nintendo Switch bundle of Black Friday 2021 but there is a catch if you want to get it with all the money off.

Black Friday so far has really only been about the games, with some particularly good bargains at Smyths and The Game Collection but nothing very much in terms of consoles.

The one deal that has been doing the rounds on almost every site is an official Nintendo Switch bundle with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and three months of Nintendo Switch Online subscription.

Most sites have this for £259.99, which is a saving of £56.98 if you were to try and buy everything individually. No one has gone much below this price though, except Very which is selling it for £207.99 – although getting the full discount does involve jumping through a few hoops.

How to get the cheapest Nintendo Switch bundle deal at Very

The first issue is that you have to be a new customer, so if you’re not then you’ll have to find a way of pretending you are – perhaps by using a different email and/or delivery address.

The bigger issue is that to get the deal you need to sign up for a Very Pay account, which you may not want to do. It will involve Very running a credit check on you and then they’ll give you £750 of credit in your account – although you don’t have to use any of it, as you can pay off purchases instantly.

If you’re confident you want to go through with it there’s still an additional step to get the full discount. Once you’re registered you need to use the code WELCOME at the checkout to apply your 20% discount as a new customer.

That brings the price down to £207.99, although you will have to pay delivery on that as well.

If you want the new Switch OLED model then Very also has the best deal for that at the moment, with a bundle featuring Metroid Dread that costs £39.58.

That’s no good if you don’t want Metroid Dread, or already have it, but since it’s the best Nintendo Switch game of the year it’s pretty tempting, especially as a Christmas present.
