Tim Schafer Would "Love To" Remake Psychonauts

Tim Schafer, designer of Psychonauts, sat down for an interview with Gamerheadquarters. In the interview, he had this to say when asked about a new Psychonauts game:

"A lot of source material doesn’t exist, such as the cutscenes and they’d have to be done from scratch. It’s possible in the future, a sequel would actually be easier than doing the first one. The acting, lots of things hold up well. Someday we would love to.”

Based on this, it seems that a third installment of Psychonauts into the series is more likely, and it’s possible we will be seeing more information in the future.

Gamers Aren't Happy With The Abandoned Realtime Experience App

It took what felt like forever for Abandoned Realtime Experience, but unfortunately, it seems that many do not feel that it was worth the wait—and with good reason. Instead of any real new content, what fans found instead was a five-second teaser for the game that had already been posted to Twitter earlier that day. In addition, there was a message informing fans that more content would be coming soon.

Though some had long-ago decided that there wasn’t going to be anything real behind Blue Box and Abandoned, others were dramatically let down, as comparisons to Kojima and Silent Hill had been circulating just months ago. At this point, it seems many are just giving up on the idea of Abandoned entirely.

Pokemon Unite Players Accuse Master Cup Players Of Trolling

If you’re not familiar, once you get to the Master Cup in Pokemon Unite, you are there for good, as you cannot fall back down to Ultra. While this was intended to be a positive thing, some are convinced that players are taking advantage of the mechanic.

It seems that some players in Master Cup are now purposely playing badly because they cannot be penalized for it. This includes not communicating with other team members and playing as whoever they want. Getting paired with people in the Master Cup has been a huge pain for many who are still trying to progress.

Mass Effect Mod Restores Queer Ashley And Kaidan Romance

In some great news for Mass Effect fans, a new mod now makes it so that you can romance Ashley and Kaiden, regardless of if you play as male or female Shepard. The mod actually makes use of unused dialogue from game files.

Since the game files were used for this, all the scenes will be properly voiced and animated, too. Some of the notable new options include Shepard being able to turn down Liara, claiming that Shepard is only interested in men, among many other updates.

Crossbones Is Coming To Marvel's Avengers

The long-awaited War for Wakanda will be launching in Marvel’s Avengers in just a couple days, and Black Panther will finally be added to the roster. However, we’ve also now found out that in addition, we will be getting a new villain, Crossbones.

In an interview with GameInformer, a developer from Crystal Dynamics had this to say about Crossbones entering the fray: “Crossbones has some of the most iconic comic dialogue ever because he just enjoys himself so much, but he's also got some interesting tricks up his sleeve. There's always a lot of discussion of who we think our villains should be.”

With Black Panther and Crossbones coming, Marvel’s Avengers might get a needed extra boost to its number of players soon.
