Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Gameplay Reveal Coming Soon

Borderlands fans are likely starting to itch for more content. Borderlands 3's post-launch support, as robust as it was, has come to its conclusion, though the addition of cross-platform play outside of PlayStation was a very nice addition. Now Borderlands fans are looking toward what's coming next, which is Tiny Tina's Wonderlands. Even if Tiny Tina's Wonderlands isn't technically a Borderlands game, fans are anxious for a gameplay reveal showing just what it'll be. It seems fans won't have to wait long, as a gameplay reveal is confirmed to be coming soon.

The announcement was made on the official Twitter account for Tiny Tina's Wonderlands and unfortunately doesn't include a date or any clues regarding the reveal. The tweet says, "soon…" with an eyes emoji replacing the "oo." A gif is attached that says Tiny Tina's Wonderlands gameplay reveal is coming soon. Otherwise, there are a few sketchy drawings, including a sword with a heart, a bunny head with "x"s for eyes, a bomb with a lit fuse, and a skull missing its lower jaw.

With no date at hand, it begs the question as to why Gearbox didn't say when fans can expect news outright. As in, a company wouldn't typically make an announcement saying something is coming soon without a date unless there was an explicit reason for not doing so. That reason, for example, could be an upcoming event where companies are prohibited from making an announcement beforehand. Either that, or the company is close to sharing what it has but needs an indefinite amount of time before it's ready.

Either could be the case with regards to Tiny Tina's Wonderlands. Gearbox could just need another few days before it drops the trailer, but wanted to mention it early to get hype going. Another possibility is that Tiny Tina's Wonderlands will be at the upcoming PlayStation Showcase on September 9, but can't say so.

Anticipation for the gameplay reveal of Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is high, particularly due to fans not knowing exactly what it is. A high fantasy spin on Borderlands has been seen in the Borderlands 2 DLC Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep, but Gearbox likely has a few exciting new ideas if its made Tiny Tina's Wonderlands a full new game.

All that can be said is that Borderlands fans can look forward to Tiny Tina's Wonderlands being fully unveiled soon. That likely means waiting a matter of days, or weeks at worst.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands releases in 2022 on PC, PS5, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
