Twitch Bans Rainbow Six Siege Streamer BikiniBodhi

Fans of Bikini Bodhi and Rainbow Six Siege will likely be upset to hear of the latest news regarding his Twitch account. As of this writing, the streamer is currently banned from the platform, with YouTube being his only remaining outlet. However, he does not stream on YouTube and has not shown any signs of switching platforms anytime soon. Despite his biggest game on Twitch being Rainbow Six Siege, he wanted to support his professional team by watching them play in the League of Legends European Championship alongside his viewers. Little did he know, this came with some dire consequences.

Bikini Bodhi is a longtime content creator of Rainbow Six Siege, with 180 thousand followers on Twitter, and a whopping 1.66 million subscribers on YouTube. The hefty majority of the content he creates revolves around the widely popular shooter by Ubisoft and until August 22, he had yet to be banned a single time on any of his platforms. Even amid massive cheating problems in Rainbow Six Siege, Bikini Bodhi continues to create content on both YouTube and Twitch for his fans to enjoy.

The streamer though came into some bad luck, as he wholesomely wanted to support his team in the LEC. During his Twitch stream, he opened the ongoing League of Legends European Championship broadcast, and began watching it on-screen while his viewers joined him. This though as it turns out, is heavily against the LEC's strict broadcasting rules, and shortly after the very first game in the championship, his stream was taken offline and he was banned. Fortunately for the streamer, his ban is only for 24 hours, so he can get right back to playing Rainbow Six Siege's new operator Osa.

With the Rainbow Six Siege World Cup of 2021 having been postponed to 2022, professional players have had a lack of opportunities to participate in tournaments. Bikini Bodhi is no exception, and his support for Fnatic was undoubtedly the only thing on his mind as he began streaming the LEC. The popular streamer had several thousand viewers at the time of his ban, and it came as an utmost surprise to everyone when his account was taken down without warning. He immediately posted a Tweet about the ban, but continued Tweeting into the night about many issues he has with Twitch.

Bikini Bodhi had a lot to say throughout the day, and eventually was able to update his fans that his ban was only a 24-hour one, and it was due to him having streamed the championship. He also stated that he heavily enjoys Rainbow Six, even while not streaming it. Hopefully for his fans, he can return to the platform with this love for the game and the newest Resident Evil collaboration.

Rainbow Six Siege is available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
