Turok 2 Getting Online Multiplayer On Switch

In case you were unaware, both Nintendo 64 classics Turok and Turok 2: Seeds of Evil were both ported to Nintendo Switch back in 2019. The studio behind these ports was Nightdive Studios. Despite going on two years since its launch, Nightdive isn’t quite done tinkering with Turok 2 if this tweet is anything to go off of:

?Greetings Dinosaur Hunters?
A patch for Turok 2 on the Nintendo Switch is set to release on the 25th:

– Online multiplayer!
– Re-enabled German audio localization
– Support for gyro for some third-party controllers such as the Hori Splitpad in handheld mode
– Stability

Starting today, Turok 2 will receive an update that allows players to engage in online multiplayer (which includes PlayStation 4 cross-platform play). What’s more, German audio localization has been re-enabled and gyro support has been added to some third-party controllers. It’s great to see Turok 2 getting some TLC post-launch, especially as it remains one of the most entertaining games from Nintendo 64’s software library. Are you excited for this update? Tell us in the comments and on social media!
