In what has to be one of the strangest collaborations in recent memory, Vertagear is teaming up with Swarovski to introduce a high-end gaming chair embedded with crystals. The luxurious throne is now available for pre-order with an asking price of $599.99.
Vertagear isn't new to the world of expensive gaming gear. Just this month we had the chance to review the PL4500 and its RGB upgrade kit – clocking in at over $700 – while last year we looked at the $999 Trigger 350 gaming chair. Despite containing actual crystals, this new Swarovski chair almost sounds like a bargain at less than $600.
"This collaboration has all of the award-winning features that come along with the PL4500 racing series chair like Vertagear’s Patented HygennX coffee fiber technology, and our upgradable RGB kits," Vertagear announced. "All while adding the beautiful craftsmanship well known by Crystals from Swarovski. The PL4500 comes embellished in Crystals from Swarovski® in a luxurious diamond shape pattern embroidered on the chair that gives it an elegant look, yet still giving you the same comfort and support you can expect from owning a PL4500 gaming chair."
The flashy crystals won't be to everyone's liking, but there's no doubt the PL4500 is a solid product. And – if you're looking for a way to stand out during your livestream – embedded crystals are probably going to catch a few eyes.
