Warface: Breakout, the console-based spinoff for online FPS Warface, is getting a raft of new updates and features throughout 2020. Developer My.Games has announced the game’s roadmap and what’s to come over the next few months.

What new features is Warface: Breakout getting?

Warface franchise producer Ivan Pabiarzhyn says that Breakout “was always designed as an evolving experience”. The game’s roadmap will span three content seasons, each of which will contain new content like maps, challenges, and game modes. There will also be seasonal events for Halloween and Christmas. You can check out the full roadmap for Warface: Breakout right here:

Season One brought with it new ranked matches, detailed player profile options, and daily quests, among other things. Season Two will commence in September and will add weapon progression to Warface: Breakout. You’ll also be able to take advantage of a 60 tick rate server update, as well as a brand-new map and cross-play between PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Warface: Breakout is also getting callout pings, a seasonal leaderboard, and stats for every weapon in this season.

What will Season Three of Warface: Breakout bring?

When Season Three lands, it’ll bring with it a clan system, so you can team up with your friends. There’s also a new game mode coming in Season Three, as well as two new maps and a Spectator mode for those who simply wish to watch the action unfold. There’s also the Defusal Kit item, new body and weapon skins, trinkets, and the ability to spray graffiti around the map. Finally, Season Three will add custom game modes so you can customize your favorite tweaks and parameters into a game.

You can buy Warface: Breakout on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One right now. Unlike the main game, there’s no free-to-play option. Breakout offers a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive-style experience on consoles and focuses largely on its central Defusal mode, rather than Warface‘s free-for-all PvP firefights.
