Hollis' Classroom is the second level in Psychonauts 2 and Raz's first introduction to a new brain power – Mental Connection. This ability lets Raz target specific points of the level and attach himself to them, acting almost like a grappling hook. More importantly than its traversal possibilities, it opens you up to even more collectibles!

Figments In Hollis' Classroom
Unfortunately, figments are incredibly hard to keep track of in Psychonauts 2, as they’re essentially the game’s version of coins or rings, with some levels having more than 200 of them. Psychonauts 2 also won’t tell you where you’ve found items after you’ve picked them up, so Figments can be very hard to clear if you don’t know where you’re looking.
Thankfully, each level does have a figment list you can access at any time. It won’t tell you where the figments are, but it might point you to where in the world you’re missing a few collectibles based on the design. Here’s the full list for Hollis’ Classroom.
Emotional Baggage In Hollis' Classroom
Emotional baggage are arguably the biggest collectible in Psychonauts 2. There are five different types you can find in each level, although not every level will have all of them. You’ll be able to spot Emotional Baggage as you’ll hear them crying and Raz will often comment that there’s one nearby. To collect the baggage, you’ll also need to find the tag elsewhere in the level.
You’ll only find two bits of Emotional Baggage in Hollis’ Classroom, as the level eventually morphs into another, where you’ll find the rest.
Steamer Trunk
Tag:
The Steamer Trunk Tag can be found right at the start of the level. Simply jump over to the other row in the classroom to grab it.
Baggage:
The Steamer Trunk can be found on top of the hospital, in the lefthand corner under a pipe. Use the ambulance to reach the roof.
Hatbox
Tag:
The Hatbox tag can be found on the roof of the hospital. It’s sat on top of a vent, which you’ll need to climb onto to grab.
Baggage:
The Hatbox is found outside the hospital, in the righthand corner near a bush.
Memory Vaults In Hollis' Classroom
Memory Vaults return from the first Psychonauts and once again offer extra insight into the character whose mind you’re in. Once you find a Memory Vault, you’ll need to break it open by hitting it.
Memory Vault 1
The only Memory Vault of this level can be found after completing the 2D side-scrolling section of the level. Once you’ve used Mental Connection to open the vault to the next room, you’ll see the Memory Vault sat there in the corridor.
Half-A-Minds In Hollis' Classroom
Half-A-Minds are a new collectible in Psychonauts 2. As the name suggests, they are one mind split into two, and finding two separate pieces will give you one extra brain’s worth of health.
Half-A-Mind 1
Your first Half-A-Mind will be found in the middle of the Morgue just after completing a 2D platforming section. This will introduce them to the game, so it’s hard to miss.
Half-A-Mind 2
The second Half-A-Mind can be found in the same room as the first, but you’ll need to use Mental Connection to reach the top of the room to grab it.
Nuggets Of Wisdom In Hollis' Classroom
Nuggets of Wisdom are another new collectible in Psychonauts 2. Each level has a different design for them, but you’ll be able to find them by their golden glow. Collecting one will instantly increase your rank by one point.
Nugget of Wisdom 1
The first Nugget of Wisdom is near impossible to miss, and comes when you’re using Mental Connection for the first time.
Nugget of Wisdom 2
This Nugget can be found in the bushes outside the hospital, on the left hand side.
Nugget of Wisdom 3
The third Nugget of Wisdom can be found after reaching the Chuch area of the level, right at the end. You’ll see it sat in a pew.
