Games Workshop have announced Issue 462 of White Dwarf magazine will include 12 free Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000 PC games.
White Dwarf is Games Workshop’s monthly magazine that features content for all of their tabletop games. Each issue includes content like news, previews, lore, short stories, novel exerts, hobby articles, contests, painted miniature galleries, and new rules for all things Warhammer.
This also includes Warhammer 40,000, Age of Sigmar, Necromunda, Bloodbowl, or other products like the Middle-Earth Strategy Battle Game. The magazine has been around since the late ’70s and is available via subscription, or purchase through retailers and online stores.
Issue 462 will have even more goodies for Warhammer fans in the form of a key that grants access to Steam copies of 12 different Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000 PC games.
The full list includes Warhammer: Vermintide 2, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War, Total War: Warhammer, Warhammer Underworlds: Online, Warhammer Quest, Warhammer Quest 2: The End Times, Talisman: Digital Edition, Adeptus Titanicus: Dominus, Warhammer 40,000: Sanctus Reach, Warhammer 40,000: Armageddon – Da Orks, and Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf.
In case you missed it, you can find our review of Total War: Warhammer here (we highly recommend it!)
While diehard fans likely have the most worthwhile games on that list already (most notably Vermintide 2, Space Marine, Dawn of War, and Total War: Warhammer), it’s still a pretty good deal for anyone just getting into the Warhammer universe. Even when on sale, Vermintide 2 alone costs about as much as the magazine.
White Dwarf 462 will be available for preorder on March 12th, and will be in stores March 19th for $8.99 USD.
