Microsoft today announced the expansion of Xbox Cloud Gaming as part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
According to the company, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can now stream games using Windows 10 PC. The service also supports Apple’s iPhone and iPad tablets. Rather than using a dedicated app – like on Android – Xbox Cloud Gaming on these devices is done via web browsers.
“If you’re a member or want to become a member, simply go to xbox.com/play on Microsoft Edge, Chrome, or Safari on your PC or mobile device to start playing hundreds of games from the Xbox Game Pass library,” Microsoft says.
The service is supported on Microsoft Edge, Chrome, or Safari on PC or mobile devices. Games stream at up to 1080p at 60 frames per second. The ability to stream from a browser makes Xbox Cloud Gaming similar to Google Stadia.
