Xenoblade Chronicles fans have been expecting a new game in the series for some time now, especially given how successful it’s been on the Switch with its two releases, and after several months of rumours and speculation regarding the same, Nintendo officially announced Xenoblade Chronicles 3 earlier this month.
When the game got announced, Nintendo handed it a September release window- and it seems to be on track to hit that target launch. The game has now been rated in Australia, receiving an M (or Mature) rating, which is the same as what Xenoblade Chronicles and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 were categorized as as well.
Classification ratings usually come when a game is close to launch, or at least if it’s far enough in its development to be played, reviewed, and rated by classification boards across the world. In a COVID-stricken world, it’s still hard to be sure about any release date, but these encouraging sings do seem to suggest the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is on track
When Xenoblade Chronicles 3 launches in September, the fantasy action RPG will be available on Nintendo Switch.
