E3 2021: Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water Coming Later This Year

Today at E3, Nintendo announced that Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water will be coming to Switch. This year marks the 20th anniversary since the original Fatal Frame in 2001 on PlayStation 2 and later Xbox. Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water first came to Nintendo on Wii U in Japan in 2014 and then a year later in the US.

Fatal Frame is an excellent example of Japanese horror that is then uniquely combined with photography gameplay. Players will use a camera to photograph spirits in order to repel them. There are different characters to play as and the Switch edition is will have new camera modes and costumes for characters. Both to be revealed at a later date.
