Available Now: Animal Crossing: New Horizons Update Brings Mario Items

Have you missed the Nintendo themed items from Animal Crossing: New Leaf? For those who are new to the Animal Crossing series, in the previous game, tokens gained from walking while carrying your 3DS could be exchanged for random Nintendo items like Mario coins, the Triforce, or Nintendogs. On February 25, update 1.8.0 will launch, with the sale of these items beginning on March 1. The update itself is actually live right now for those who want to download it!

Downloading the update will reward the player with Mario wallpaper. Players can order items such as mushrooms, blocks, outfits, and usable warp pipes. The warp pipes are actually functional, with players able to transport themselves anywhere across their island by placing and using them. Other than purchasing Mario items, it is still unknown at this time if there will be any Mario-themed events or activities added to the game.
