Battlefield 2042’s release date has been leaked on Reddit with tons of stuff, and I am pretty sure that will turn out to be the actual release date, so we will keep you updated on everything as soon as they officially announce it. I am really hyped for Battlefield 2042, and I hope that the last-gen port does not turn out to be bad, and they actually showcase how it runs on Last-Gen Consoles like Ubisoft will do with Far Cry 6. I just do not want to be disappointed at all, especially after the disappointment Battlefield V turned out to be. I have really high hopes for this one. I think it can work really well with the future setting. The maps seem to be really good and everything. I hope that they reveal Post-Launch Content soon too.

Battlefield 2042 has three editions: Standard, Gold, Ultimate and most likely (Not confirmed yet) A Collector’s Edition. The Perks for these some editions are Open Beta early access, Baku ACB-90 melee takedown knife, “Mr Chompy” Epic Weapon Charm, “Landfall” Player Card Background, “Old Guard” Tag” 4 New Specialists (1 per Season of the Year 1 Pass), 4 Battle Passes (1 per Season of the Year 1 Pass), 3 Epic Skin Bundles (”Blistered Earth”, ”Tempest”, and ”Cold Blood”)” Shadow Stalker” Legendary Outfit, “Obsidian” Legendary Weapon Skin, “Onyx” Legendary Vehicle Skin.”
We will keep you updated as soon as we find out the proper perks for every single Edition, and we will update this article.

Open Beta

Open Beta will only be available for those who pre-order a specific edition now; this does sound bad, but again you can cancel your pre-order any time. Hopefully, they will have a completely open beta where everyone, including those who have not pre-ordered Battlefield 2042 can play it.
Members can deploy early with Access to the Open Beta, Full Ultimate Edition Game Access on October 15, Monthly Rewards and more.

Battlefield 2042 introduces 7 vast maps for up to 128* players. From Seoul’s cities to Egypt’s deserts, every map offers a unique experience based on the natural environment. Hopefully, these maps turn out to be good. I really liked the desert map in Cold War. If it is anything similar to that, I will probably end up spending tons of hours in Battlefield 2042. The player limit for Battlefield 2042 is 128, which is insane. I do not think that any game ever has done this. It’s gonna be like an actual war.

A Story campaign is not officially confirmed yet, but a press release states, “.S.A. and Russia stand at the brink of war. Proxy wars have waged for decades, generating experienced but displaced combat veterans. These Specialists use their skills to shape the future — a future worth fighting for.” which seems a bit like a description for the Story of Battlefield 2042. We will update you right at the moment when they actually announce something story related.

Weapons, Classes and Vehicles

You can Customize weapons, gadgets and vehicles in the battle to tip the scales in your favour. Summon a robotic dog built for battle, employ a grappling hook or don your very own wingsuit. And you can choose your role on the battlefield and form hand-tailored squads through the new Specialist system. Based on Battlefield’s four Classes, Specialists have one unique Specialty and Trait – but the rest of the loadout is fully customizable. All of this seems very interesting I am definitely looking forward to Battlefield 2042 when it releases on October 15th; I will keep everyone updated and frequently update this article whenever they announce more information about Battlefield 2042.

The trailer has not been showcased yet, but here is the link to watch it. I will give everyone my thoughts on it here when it gets showcased in an hour.
