‘Final Fantasy VII the First Soldier’ Season 2 Start Date Revealed, Anniversary Livestream Set for Today

Square Enix’s Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier(Free) finally released last year on iOS and Android for free. The 75 player battle royale featuring various elements from Final Fantasy VII and the series in general has since seen a few big updates to bring in new content and events. In the first letter from the developers, Square Enix detailed plans for future updates including controller support, 60fps, and more. Today, Square Enix revealed that Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier Season 2 begins on February 28th worldwide on iOS and Android. Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier Season 2 “Dominate the Sky” will include the new boss and summon: Bahamut, the Dragoon style, new Telepo materia, Flare thrower weapon, and more. Barring the content coming in the beginning of Season 2, Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier will add private matches, the Shinra Building map for a new battle mode, and more. Square Enix is also hosing a livestream later today focusing on the 25th anniversary of Final Fantasy VII that will happen updates on new content coming to Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier.
