Guerrilla Games has released a new patch for Horizon Zero Dawn on PC, fixes and addressing even more issues in the process. Several graphical issues, like Aloy’s hair not showing properly if the game runs above 30 FPS, have been addressed. Another nice fix is that shader animations are no longer restricted to 30 FPS.

Other issues involving flickering – like textures, snow assets and paintings – have also been fixed. Those with specific GPUs facing graphics corruption issues should also see the issue fixed. A number of crashes, including ones that occurs if the “Stop” button on Steam is press after hitting “Play” or when using Avast antivirus, have also been addressed.

More patches are expected in the coming months as Guerrilla Games continues to support the PC version. The developer is also busy with Horizon Forbidden West, the sequel which is due out in 2021 for PS5. There may be more information for it at today’s PS5 showcase so stay tuned.
