Target acquired: consumers want Metroid Dread. That is the general consensus according to video game retailer GameStop’s list of pre-orders. Following E3 2021, the company has tallied which games are showing the most interest among fans and Nintendo’s upcoming 2D Metroid offering is number one. Take a look:

It’s also notable that alongside Metroid Dread, Mario Golf: Super Rush, Skyward Sword HD, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, Mario Party Superstars, and Pokémon Legends Arceus are right up there in the top ten, too. Interest in Nintendo is at an all-time high, it would seem, thanks in no small part to a solid showing at this year’s E3.
