The Minecraft Dungeons Creeping Winter DLC has been announced as one of three cool new things debuting in September 2020, finally bringing more content for players to enjoy in Mojang's Minecraft-themed ARPG.

"The Creeping Winter DLC brings a wintry storm that threatens to consume all it touches," states an article on the Minecraft website. "The only chance of halting the biting frost is for a hero to take on new missions and relentless new enemies!"

This new DLC for Minecraft Dungeons is sure to be appreciated by players who may already be bored with the existing content. As this is DLC, you're going to have to drop a few bucks to pick it up, but this is just one of the three things debuting next month. To start, a physical edition of the game is coming out for all platforms!

If you haven't already bought the game, now is as good a time as any. The physical editions will incclude the already-released Jungle Awakens DLC and the upcoming Creeping Winter DLC right out of the box! As a bonus, all purchasers will also get unique cosmetics like a cape and other unmentioned items.

Money's tight for a lot of us, though, and so you might not be able to buy this new DLC right away. Worry not — the last big announcement is a free update for all players who already own the game! This batch of new content will include new feathes, new merchants, and Daily Trails. If you save captured Merchants while playing the game, they'll set up a shop in your camp!

Let's get down to brass tacks: when is the Minecraft Dungeeons Creeping Winter release date? The details are revealed in the news post announcing all of this awesome new content.

The bad news is that you're going to have to wait about a month. The good news, however, is that the boxed versions, Creeping Winter DLC, and free game update will all release on the same day! You'll be able to play the Creeping Winters DLC when it launches on September 8, 2020. No price has been announced, but I'd wager it will be close to the $5.99 price point on the Jungle Awakens DLC.
