Mojang’s Minecraft Dungeons has hit 10 million players since launch. It first became available in May 2020 for Xbox One, PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch and has seen numerous free updates and DLC launched. The developer shared some impressive stats to celebrate this milestone, including that the Arch-Illager has been defeated 5,934,629 times.
Players have taken down the Redstone Monstrosity over seven million times (with total attempts numbering over 19.5 million). In terms of time spent in camp, players racked up 1141 years, either chilling, hitting up merchants or crafting. To further celebrate the occasion, a new pet and cape will be doled out free to all players.
These will become available on February 24th when the free update, which adds procedurally generated Ancient Hunts, releases. Flames of the Nether, a new paid DLC, will also launch and contain the dread Nether as a new region, new foes and much more. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
