Along with new details on Monster Hunter Rise – including the admittedly cool Wyvern Riding – Capcom finally provided a release date for the demo. It’s actually out tomorrow and offers four quests along with all 14 different weapon types to try out. Great Izuchi and Mizutsune are the monsters available to hunt with the demo being available until February 1st.
More details have been provided courtesy of Capcom’s Japanese site. About 1.6 GB demo is required for the demo and there’s a limit to the number of times the monster hunts can be started. Upon hitting 30 quest departures, which could include completions or abandons, the demo will become unplayable. Yes, even the Basic Training and Wyvern Riding Training Quests.
Single-player and local multiplayer will be available while there are quest departures remaining. But online multiplayer will be available until the demo ends in February. Though there’s no save data transfer for the full game, players can avail of free item pack. This contains five Pitfall Traps, 10 Energy Drinks, 5 Mega Defense Drugs, 5 Mega Demon Drugs and 20 Mega Pots.
Monster Hunter Rise is out on March 26th for Nintendo Switch.
