Pokémon GO and Pokémon HOME Connectivity Gets a Release Window

Pokemon Go X Pokemon Home 640x360

A long-awaited feature of Pokémon HOME, the cloud-based storage service for all things Pocket Monsters, has been the integration of mobile sensation Pokémon GO. Pokémon HOME from the outset has promised to bring Pokémon from across the franchise’s largest platforms and games under one umbrella, and that reality is closer than ever. Today, The Pokémon Company revealed that Pokémon HOME and Pokémon GO will finally connect by the end of this year.

If you send a Pokémon to Pokémon HOME from Pokémon GO, you’ll be able to open the Mystery Box in Pokémon GO.

Doing so will make the Mythical Pokémon Meltan appear on the map for a limited time! Catch it while you can… pic.twitter.com/RfEr0RQcSE

What’s more, players will be able to get a crack at the Mythical Pokémon Meltan, which will appear for a limited time on the map in-game. Again, there’s only a release window at this point, but with October almost upon us there are only a handful of months left in the year, so word of when this connectivity will go live is likely coming sooner rather than later. Keep your eyes on Nintendojo for more and tell us what you think in the comments and on social media!
