Capcom’s Resident Evil Village will have a presence at Tokyo Game Show 2020 but that didn’t stop the company from revealing a new trailer at the PS5 showcase. It’s fairly similar to the previous – Chris Redfield has seemingly betrayed Ethan, and there’s a scary village to explore. Check it out below.
Throughout the various snatches of gameplay, we see the residents of these village having their own rituals and traditions. Werewolves – or werewolf-looking hybrids – also appear to make life difficult for Ethan. Of course, there’s also the memories of Mia who insists that the haunting story she tell is “just a local tale.”
If this all sounds disjointed, then that’s what Resident Evil Village’s story looks like in a nutshell. It’s an intriguing mystery and we can’t wait to find out more when it releases in 2021. The title is coming to PS5, Xbox Series X and PC. Stay tuned for more details in the coming days.
