Prince of Persia is a series with quite a lot of history and pedigree that has been sadly dormant for years now. The Ubisoft property has essentially been in hibernation ever since the success of Assassin’s Creed. That might be about to change if an online product listing turns out to be true.
Prince of Persia Remake para Nintendo Switch y PS4 ha sido listado y esta en preventa por el minorista MAX de Guatemala, con una fecha de entrega estimada para Noviembre de 2020.

The original Prince of Persia was a game released on Apple II computers and subsequently ported to countless other systems, including SNES. Revered for its fluid animation and tight gameplay, the game is regarded as a true gem. It is being speculated based on this online listing posted by Guatemalan retailer MAX that a remake of Prince of Persia could be coming to Nintendo Switch. Liam Robertson, a contributor to Unseen64 and Nintendo Life, alleges that he has knowledge of this remake being a thing, which he details below:
We talked about this last year on the podcast. There was a 2D remake of the original PoP floating around for a while and also tentative plans for other stuff. https://t.co/tXmUuPSS0G

Jason Schreier of Bloomberg has further fanned the flames of speculation that this reveal is legitimate:
Video game retailers sure love leaking Ubisoft’s surprise announcements https://t.co/3BP8pbgdBK

Ubisoft has a presentation coming up in September, so if Prince of Persia is indeed being remade, fans might get official word at that time. Until then, take this one with a grain of salt.
