Cowabunga, dudes—the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are now officially part of the playable roster in multiplayer online battle arena game SMITE. SMITE is a MOBA that revolves around an ever-evolving pantheon of gods to choose from, but with the introduction of the TMNT the game has gotten a street level infusion of reptilian brawlers. Peep this:
Here’s what to expect from the quartet of brothers if you purchase the TMNT Battle Pass:
All four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are available through an all-new Battle Pass dedicated to the classic franchise. Players can become the Turtle’s leader, Leonardo, with a skin for Osiris unlocked immediately upon purchasing the Battle Pass. Then, just by playing SMITE, purchasers will unlock Raphael Loki, Michelangelo Mercury, and Donatello Sun Wukong, each armed with signature weapons from the series.
The Battle Pass unlocks dozens of thematic cosmetics—Avatars, Loading Frames, Death Stamps, and more—featuring pizzas, sewers and Mousers. And for the most hardcore fans, there are bonus prestige skins with a unique 80’s [sic] cartoon-inspired look for all four Turtles. Players can also join the fight as the Turtles’ master, Splinter, or their arch-rival Shredder. Both are out now, and available as a separate purchase.
SMITE is a free download on Nintendo Switch, but the TMNT Battle Pass is paid DLC; if you’re interested in giving this content a try, just keep that in mind before heading off to the eShop. SMITE differs from other MOBAs in that the action takes place from a third-person perspective, dropping players right into the heat of battle. Will you be giving this totally rad Battle Pass a download? Tell us in the comments and on social media!
