Sony launched their much anticipated PS5 last November. Despite the global pandemic causing lots of stock issues, as one would expect, it seems the console was a success. It was also a rather difficult machine to get your hands on, too. Now we also have a bit of a look on the inside of the machine for those who are very tech curious.
Twitter user Fritzchens Fritz posted the entire die-shot of the PS5 to his account. You can see the full post below. According to Fritz, some Zen 2 FPU parts seem to be missing. If you’re big into the more meats and potatoes of what is in your machine, it’s probably quite a treat to dig through. He says more pictures are coming with higher quality.
Sony’s PlayStation 5 is said to have shipped 4.5 million units as of this month. The system is still technically available, but the unit is still plagued overall with stock issues.
