Via an official statement, the company stated, “We’ve put much thought into delaying ARK II for the betterment of the final product and the team’s well-being. This news will be disappointing to many—we feel it too—but we’re confident this heavy decision is the right one.”

Furthermore, the developers went on to explain the cause of the delay. They stated that their goal is to provide the best game possible and that Unreal Engine 5 is new technology that requires significant work and effort. Therefore, the developers require more time to perfect the game and work on with new systems and workflows. Moreover, the developers plan to provide a fantastic and novel experience in ARK II, with major design changes as well as revolutionary cross-platform modding.

Studio Wildcard has a lot on their hands for the release of ARK II. Fans can remain hopeful that the game has a smooth and good launch.
