Tokyo Game Show 2020 Online takes place later this month and while Capcom is prepping some news, including pli Loĝanta Malbona Vilaĝo detaloj, we could be getting some announcements before that. According to AestheticGamer on Twitter (better known as Dusk Golem on ResetEra), the new Monster Hunter game on Switch will also be at the show. However, he notes that it should be “known about very soon.”
Details about the new Monster Hunter title, which is apparently running on a Switch-compatible version of RE Engine, was provided by AestheticGamer last month. He also revealed that a new Shenmue announcement would be coming along with a PS5 showcase in mid-September. Given how both have come true, it seems like only a matter of time before the new Monster Hunter is revealed.
Capcom doesn’t seem to have any other announcements for TGS 2020 though. There will be a Japanese-only announcement but apparently it “won’t be very exciting for anyone outside of Japan.” Tokyo Game Show 2020 Online is currently set for September 23rd to 27th. Stay tuned for more details in the coming days.
Capcom have already confirmed there will be new RE8 stuff at TGS, Monster Hunter Switch (which should be known about very soon) should also be there. So yes. There's one announcement I know which is Japanese only and won't be very exciting for anyone outside of Japan though.
