Nu we een paar dagen in juli 2021 zijn, is het tijd om opnieuw te kijken naar enkele van de belangrijkste releases van videogames die de komende maand verschijnen.
Hoewel er deze maand niet veel grote AAA-games uitkomen, zijn er nog steeds genoeg ports en interessante indiegames om naar uit te kijken. Onder deze laatste vallen onder meer Boemerang X, Cris verhalen, Tsjernobyl, Blastermaster nul 3, en oudste zielen.
Voor die middleware-titels die de grens tussen de twee overschrijden (en we zijn er zeker van dat het bovenstaande ter discussie staat); we hebben De zilveren kast 2425, Akiba's reis: Hellbound & Debriefed, Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector, De vergeten stad, en Bustafellows.
Natuurlijk betekent een paar grote AAA-releases niet dat er geen zijn; waarbij de Nintendo Switch toegang heeft tot het leeuwendeel. Hoogtepunten zijn onder meer Ys IX: Monster Nox (op weg naar Windows PC en Nintendo Switch), Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD, De grote Ace Attorney Chronicles en NEO: De wereld eindigt met jou.
Mobiele spelers hebben ook een paar titels om over op te scheppen The Witcher: Monster Slayer, NieR Re[in]anjer, en Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster-serie. Deze laatste komt ook naar Windows PC.
