Scopely have announced that Big Chungus is coming to free-to-play mobile action RPG Looney Tunes World of Mayhem.
The game brings together the Looney Tunes in the numerous costumes from past cartoons, along with all new ones, to beat the bells out of each other with their own special abilities. Collect Tunes, build your team, send others to gather resources, and fight off foes in stories, events, and PVP.
The upcoming events for the game include Olympig Strategist (from March 26th to March 30th), Star-Pharaoh Marvin’s Path to Legendary (from March 29th to April 2nd), regional events, and artist spotlights. While the first two events bring Athena Petunia and Star-Pharaoh Marvin’s feeding event, there is one more event.
From April 2nd to April 8th, the Big Chungus legendary Tune will be available during the Easter Eggstravaganza! event. Players must find Eggs and Big Chungus coins to redeem for Big Chungus pieces.
For those unfamiliar, Big Chungus was born of an internet meme; stemming from 1941’s Wabbit Twouble. Bugs is seen mocking Elmer Fudd, who had a much more portly design at the time, and briefly grows to share his girth. Since then the meme has grown from funny, to annoying, to ironic, and then funny again.
Other events include Bugs the Brave’s Path to Legendary (from April 5th to April 9th), the Athletes Spotlight (from April 6th to April 9th), and A Chorus for Horus (from April 9th to April 13th). New end-game battle events also run from March 29th to April 4th, and April 5th to April 11th.
