Godfall had an awful launch, but in hopes of resurrecting, Gearbox is launching a new expansion. I do not think that it will be easily revived unless they give it out as a PS+ Game or make it free to play.
However, I really hope that they succeed in reviving this game. I have not played it yet, but it has received a very harsh reception from both players and critics. Maybe they can turn things around a bit as Bethesda did with Fallout 76, or even better, they can do something that DICE did with Star Wars Battlefront 2. It will not be easy, though. They will have to take some major steps to make players have an interest in this game, and Gearbox’s Marketing Department is not that good. Hopefully, they are able to revive this game since Gearbox is talented; I have a bit of hope in them.
