Predator: Hunting Grounds is adding a classic hero from the Predator franchise to the lineup of character classes in the multiplayer game’s latest paid DLC, due out September 1st on both PC and PlayStation 4.
Already having added a modern take on Dutch to the game back in May, the new version of Dutch is from the original 1980s Predator movie. The popular character took on the Predator in the movie’s climax in a showdown that cemented the film as an all time classic and the Predator as a iconic villain.

Classic Dutch will look like his ’80s counterpart and will come with his fully automatic machine gun equipped with a grenade launcher. Arnold Schwarzenegger will also return, reciting classic lines from the original movie. The DLC will also come with eight tint variations of the character.
The new DLC for the game comes days after the announcement of a new patch being added to Predator: Hunting Grounds that will add unique skins, weapons, and loadout tools for players to access. In addition to the content update, developer IllFonic will also be adding crossplay to the game between the PC and PS4 , a feature requested by many fans.
Meanwhile, The Predator franchise, which is currently under Disney ownership, has also had the comic book rights acquired and moved over to Marvel from the previous owner Dark Horse Comics. Dark Horse Comics had previously owned the comic book rights to the franchise since the 80s, creating unique stories and crossovers with classic comic book characters like DC’s Batman.
