Necromunda: Underhive Wars received a spotlight during this year’s Gamescom presentation with a trailer that revealed more detailed information about each of the factions and also confirmed the console release date. Although it was assumed to be the case, fans now know with certainty that the game will release on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on September 8th.
Necromunda: Underhive Wars is a Warhammer 40K adjacent video game and markets itself as a tactical experience, and while that may be true the trailer sure makes it seem hectic. Players will join up with one of three gangs, House Orlock, House Escher, and House Goliath in order to build and foster a gang dead set on taking over the entire underhive. Chaos reigns supreme in this dystopian world, and it seems that its inhabitants wouldn’t have it any other way.

The September 8th release date has been established for a while now for PC users, but there was never any official confirmation of when the title would release on console. With this latest trailer, there is no longer any doubt about the console version’s release date, as the imposing voice over includes PS4 and Xbox One in its list when mentioning the September 8th release date.
With a release date so close now, interested fans can expect to hear more about the game the closer it gets to September 8th. Before long though, Necromunda: Underhive Wars will be in the hands of fans and they’ll be able to figure everything out for themselves. One thing is certain though, it’s going to get messy.
