The first of these challenges sends players to plant a seed on a heart-shaped island as Groot, and some fans may not be clear on where exactly to find this location. Fortunately, it is fairly simple to visit the heart-shaped island in Fortnite with just the bit of instruction that is contained within this guide.
Indeed, Fortnite players that are looking to plant a seed on a heart-shaped island should turn their attention to the coast just southwest of Sweaty Sands. Many fans will be quite familiar with this area due to the fact that Stack Shack is located there, and it is also where the island referenced in this Groot Awakening Challenge is situated. After arriving at the island, things become quite straightforward in this new Fortnite challenge. Simply, fans should make sure that they have their Groot skin equipped and interact with the darkened soil to plant the seed. Players should then receive indication that they have completed this Groot Awakening Challenge, and they are free to move onto the next one if they wish to.
In this second and final Groot challenge, fans will be sent to emote at a Friendship monument, which is actually quite close to the heart-shaped island from the challenge detailed in this guide. More specifically, the Friendship monument is positioned just to the northwest of Sweaty Sands, and fans should be looking for two large figures in the midst of a high five. Once located all a player must do is perform an emote while wearing the requisite outfit to complete the Groot Awakening Challenges and receive the Battle Brother built-in emote.
That will certainly not mark the end of the Awakening Challenges that are unlocked through Fortnite‘s Chapter 2 Season 4 Battle Pass, though, as there are sets for Storm, Mystique, Doctor Doom, and Iron Man as well. There is also a group of Wolverine challenges that exist outside of Battle Pass progression, but only one of them is available at the time of writing. All together this means that there is a ton of new content available in Fortnite, which should keep players busy for quite some time.
