Sega has announced they want to do more ports, remasters, and remakes of various Atlus games.
The new change within the company is thanks to the success of the Windows PC port of Persona 4 Golden, news confirmed (via Hachima) in their latest financial results report by Sega Sammy President and CEO Haruki Satomi.
“We haven’t released any Atlus titles on Steam until now, but when we released a solid port of P4G on PC, the response was far greater than we expected,” Satomi said.
He added, “That’s why we’d like to continue to release our catalog of Atlus titles, some of which will be a solid port and some of which will be remastered and remade, on various platforms.”
Persona 4 Golden has been available for Windows PC (via Steam) since June 13th.
