Mobius Digital’s spectacular Outer Wilds was one of 2019’s biggest surprise hits, and the indie hit is finally coming to the Switch soon- a platform where indie games thrive almost without fail. It’s a match that’s been waiting to happen.
Announced recently during Nintendo’s Direct presentation, it was confirmed that Outer Wilds will release for the Switch some time this Summer, with more details to follow at a later date. Outer Wilds sees players exploring a solar system that’s stuck in a 22 minute time loop, with time resetting every time the sun goes supernova. Players must uncover the mysteries of the solar system and an extinct alien race known as the Nomai.
Outer Wilds was an excellent game, as you may have heard, so it’s great to see it finally making its way over to the Switch as well. Currently, it’s available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Stay tuned for more details on the Switch port.
