Narita Boy set to release on 30th March 2021

Some weeks ago, Team 17 announced that they would be publishing Narita Boy by Studio Koba. Narita Boy is a 1980s Inspired Mystical Techn-Adventure game. It is releasing on 30th March for PC, PlayStation 4 (Can be played on PlayStation 5; via backward compatibility), Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One (Can be played on Xbox Series X|S; via Backwards Compatibility). If you are a member of Xbox Gamepass, you will get Narita Boy day-one for free on both PC and Xbox.
Narita Boy features classic 2D Platformer elements, and players will be able to explore imaginative landscapes to navigate a plethora of pixel art environments. You will also have to uncover all the lore and secrets to understand Narita Boy’s story completely.

The Synthwave Track called “Saving The World” From Narita Boy Soundtrack is currently available to stream on Spotify and other major online music streaming platforms; you can also purchase it from digital retailers such as iTunes Store and Amazon Music every sale of “Saving The World” will go towards Saving The Arcade World Campaign until the launch of Narita Boy. Team 17 and Studio Koba are also planning a digital charity event for later in spring.
Team17 has partnered with The Strong: National Museum of Play in Rochester, New York, The National Videogame Museum in the UK, and Arcade Vintage: Museo del Videojuego in Spain to ensure this distinct and essential part of video games history is protected and preserved.
