Apex Legends has been going on for a few years now, and has definitely found its niche. The game is now entering its ninth season, one that is leaning hard into its origins of a Titanfall offshoot. Much like many other games in the genre, it’s also found its way to many different platforms, and now it’ll be jumping into another.
There has been talks about a mobile version of Apex Legends for quite some time, but now it’s been made official. The company announced that the game will be coming to mobile devices with regional-based betas in India and the Philipines. As detailed in the FAQ, the game will be a separate version altogether from the console and PC version, so there will be no crossplay options, but this version is being developed internally by Respawn.
Apex Legends is currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC. Apex Legends Mobile will launch for iOS and Android platforms, though no time frame for a full release is detailed.
