Asmongold tells his viewers that he's considering quitting Twitch, amid growing frustrations with the atmosphere on the platform.
Speaking on stream, Asmongold said "I just don't want to stream anymore, and that's really the truth. There's a big part of me that just wants to quit. I don't want to do it anymore. It's not fun."

The MMO streamer made this announcement earlier today. Further elaborating on his reasons for feeling burnt out, he said: "I like having fun, I like playing things up, I like doing that stuff. And honestly, if I can’t do that – if I can’t have fun, and I have to constantly watch what I say because people are going to take it and use it against me, I don’t want to stream anymore."
At the time of writing, Asmongold is still live following his discussion about quitting. The subject matter has been dropped and the mood is much more upbeat.
Asmongold is currently the 25th most popular streamer on Twitch, averaging 63,822 viewers a stream. In the most-watched category, he's even higher, in 7th place with 8,367,260 total viewer hours.
Asmongold isn't the only one feeling the pressure from streaming. Pokimane also opened up about her own frustrations saying "I just find myself doing so many things that I’m not excited about… I’m just a f**king shoulder. I always do things that I feel like I should do." She later tweeted to assure fans she is okay.
