Borderlands has no shortage of great female characters, but everyone has their favorites. Fortunately, one talented Borderlands has something for just about every fan of the franchise, as they show off outfits based on many of the games' most important women.
While there are some Borderlands characters that do not make the cut, like Athena and Fiona, five different women get some time to shine. Twitter user @JessilynCupcake includes shots of each in one large image, with all the characters having a different look. From left to right, viewers can get a look at Gaige, Maya, Moxxi, Butcher Rose, and Tiny Tina. Fortunately, every single one of these cosplays is spectacular, with all of them being well made and full of intricate details.

Players last saw Gaige in Borderlands 3’s Guns, Love, and Tentacles expansion, as the Mechromancer served as a wedding planner for Wainwright Jakobs and Sir Hammerlock. Alongside an expertly crafted head piece that stands in for Gaige’s hair, the cosplay includes a special neck brace and outfit that perfectly matches the character's default attire. Maya is up next, and viewers can make out the some of the Siren's tattoos. Her long blue hair is clearly visible, as is some blue lipstick and the hood that she wore in the third mainline game.
The iconic Mad Moxxi is up next, and once again @JessilynCupcake decides to capture the Borderlands 3 design for the bartender. Unsurprisingly, she nails it once again, with Moxxi’s hat seen at the top of the photo and her outfit showcased at the bottom. The cosplayer does a great job with Moxxi's makeup, which is a crucial part of her appearance. Her bullet-lined choker also features. Next to Moxxi is Butcher Rose from Borderlands 3’s Bounty of Blood DLC, with the character making quite the impact on fans in the cowboy-inspired expansion. Her jade outfit is well represented, with her gun, piercings, and hat also visible.
Finally, there is @JesilynCupcake’s take on Tiny Tina, a cosplay that has quickly taken the internet by storm. While she has posted several standalone photos of herself dressed as the explosives expert, all of which feature props like bombs and Tina’s bunny, she looks just as good next to the other women of Borderlands. Every cosplay does a terrific job of maintaining the cel shaded aesthetic seen in the series, as lines are drawn on the outfits and skin of the Borderlands fan. She also wears contact lenses whenever necessary, making Butcher Rose’s green eyes stand out from Maya’s grey ones.
The cosplayer also cycles between wigs and props for each character’s hair, allowing every outfit to look different from the last. With some minor characters left to portray, as well as a couple more major characters in the fiery Lilith and intelligent Tannis, perhaps @JessilynCupcake will share some more neat Borderlands cosplays in the future.
