Cruise Chaser Mount And Moonfire Faire’s Flame Dance Added To Final Fantasy XIV’s Mog Station

The Moonfire Faire event is in full swing in Final Fantasy 14, and as usual, Square Enix has updated the Optional Items store to coincide with the event. Three new items have been added, including Moonfire Faire event items that were available in-game last year, allowing any players who missed out on these goodies a second chance to obtain them. An old boss from the game's Alexander raids has returned too, but this time it's as a mount.

Cruise Chaser is the MMO's new mount, and the most eye-catching item to be added since it's entirely brand new to the game. This is an item that players actually spotted in the game's data files before it was officially announced, so naturally, the excitement for its arrival was already high. This two-seater mount is capable of changing between two different forms and can be yours for $29.99/£17.25. While the price may seem steep, this item is account-wide, meaning all characters tied to your account will receive it.

As for those who missed last year's Moonfire Faire, you'll be pleased to hear the gorgeous Summer's Flame Attire has also been added — offering a more summery look for $5.00/£2.88, and the Flame Dance emote is available too for $2.00/£1.15. There are also a bunch of other previous Moonfire Faire event items currently on sale for those wanting to snap up a bargain, including outfits and emotes. The sale ends on Friday, August 27 at 12:00 am (PDT), so make the most of those savings while you can.
