David Jaffe says that he’s sure God of War Ragnarok will be Cross Generation

Recently in a video, David Jaffe said, “Oh, I’m sure the next God of War will be PS4/PS5” David Jaffee was involved in the God of War Franchise. However, he hasn’t worked on God of War Ragnarok (Most likely), so this statement is not completely true. However, Jim Ryan said that he is interested in bringing more PS5 games to PS4, and God of War is a huge franchise, so I think they might do it to capitalize the sales on both Platforms and God of War 2 came out in 2007. It was on PS2 only until Santa Monica released a remastered collection. Also, I doubt if the graphical difference would be big. The Graphical difference between Spider-Man Miles Morales on PS4 and PS5 isn’t huge, so this is basically good news for people who cannot afford to buy a PlayStation 5 yet or aren’t able to get one until 2022 or something.

I doubt if there is a big graphical difference between God of War and God of War Ragnarok since both can run on a PS4. Of course, the PS5 version will still be better due to ray-tracing and enhanced effects along with 60 FPS or 4K so the PS5 players already have an advantage. Still, the main thing is that Santa Monica will have to focus on 2 ports at once, which might make the game undercooked. Hopefully, I am wrong; I cannot wait to see more from God of War Ragnarok.
