DeadMau5 is launching the virtual music space Oberhasli inside Core, which is apparently a creative hub of some sorts.
One of the stranger moments of Opening Night Live was when DeadMau5 made an appearance to showcase Core, although it wasn't really clear what exactly he was showing off.

The trailer for Core was centred around a virtual space for DeadMau5 fans called 0B3RHASL1. Sorry, that's Oberhasli apparently. The virtual space seems to let players run around an environment shaped after DeadMau5, although it wasn't really clear what there is to do in that world, beyond it being a virtual music experience. This means it'll probably be like Fortnite's virtual concerts, although completely designed by DeadMau5.
The press release describes Oberhasli as, "as an interactive space in the multiverse where fans can meet up virtually, Oberhasli will feature a constantly evolving online world with music, games, and other interactive content curated by deadmau5 himself. Fans will be able to socialize with each other, play games, listen to live music performances and much more when Oberhasli debuts on Core October 14 with an exclusive live music performance featuring deadmau5 and friends".
For the rest of the footage, DeadMau5 detailed Core, which seems to be a platform that allows players to create games and worlds, similar to something like Dreams. Some of the other games shown during the trailer include an FPS, a battle royale, a racer, and some weirder choices like a wild west bounty game.
It wasn't made particularly clear what platform Core is on, but it turns out that you can download Core from the Epic Games Store. According to the store page, "Core is a multiverse of free games to play and worlds to explore designed by a global community of developers. Play thousands of Unreal-powered games from every genre, or create and earn from your own", which explains it better than the whole segment did.
Core is available on the Epic Games Store, with the DeadMau5 expansion October 14.
