Digimon World

A recent announcement by Japanese publisher Bandai Namco confirmed that the Nintendo Switch and PC version of Digimon World: Next Order will release on February 22, 2023 in Japan. The game was originally released for PS Vita and PS4 in March 2016 and in North America in January 2017. Its Switch release is likely to be a more complete version with added features.

The series started with the PlayStation original, and the Switch version continues where the story started. The story revolves around saving the Digital World from machinedramons. The game features over 200 Digimon from the series’ animated series, and players can choose between two partners to take on their enemies. Players can feed their Digimon to improve their stats and abilities. Players can also combine two Digimon using ExE Evolution.

Digimon World: Next Order is an action-adventure game, and players will control two Digimon and interact with them as they battle each other. The game is set in a circular environment and battles take place in real-time. The players can halt the combat to issue commands or use restorative items. During battles, Digimon will temporarily merge, increasing their stats.
