Giants Software has unveiled the release date, fresh information, and a cinematic teaser for Farming Simulator 22.
Farming Simulator has sold over 25 million copies globally since 2008. The game series has launched on all prominent platforms, including consoles, mobile phones, tablets, and PC.
In addition to the release date of Farming Simulator 22, regional pack photos, and an evocative CGI trailer depicting the next generation of farmers in action, the studio unveiled grapes and two additional crops.
New crops
Thanks to the new production chain feature, virtual farmers may now grow and harvest grapes to make exquisite juice and olives to produce high-quality olive oil. Sorghum, a new grain variety, has been added to the list of arable crops. Naturally, new crops necessitate the use of new types of machinery.
A touching CGI trailer about family business
The cinematic teaser depicts a father and daughter working the field together, braving the winter, and savoring the gratifying harvest, as future generations of farmers follow in the footsteps of past generations. The emotive narrative also introduces Mack Trucks as a new in-game brand and features footage of the legendary Super-Liner in action.
“Here we go, starting the pre-order on our very first self-published title,” said Giants Software CEO Christian Ammann. “We hope fans are as excited about this milestone in the series’ history as we are and enjoy our trailer as we get ready to welcome old and new farmers to our fields.”
Pre-order bonus
All Farming Simulator 22 pre-orders get the CLAAS XERION SADDLE TRAC Pack, which includes the CLAAS XERION 4200 SADDLE TRAC as well as four additional KAWECO machines. The cover features a Case IH AFS Connect Magnum, Fendt 900 Vario, Massey Ferguson MF 8S, or Zetor Crystal, depending on the area. A limited Collector’s Edition of the Case IH tractor with twin tires will be available for PC, and it will have a beacon light that responds to the machines in-game.

Farming Simulator 22 will be more widely available in more locations and to more players than ever before, welcoming new generations to learn about agriculture while allowing crops and good times to flourish together in multiplayer.
Farming Simulator 22 is coming to PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Stadia on November 22, 2021. More information about Farming Simulator 22 will be revealed at FarmCon, which will take place from July 21 to July 23.
