For those who haven’t seen, Fortnite Season 4 content has been leaking like crazy online since the beginning of August. Some reliable sources on Twitter like HypeX have been steadily sharing information online about potential locations and skins, like the now confirmed She-Hulk Fortnite skin. Now, HypeX has another leak to share, this time claiming a Black Panther location is set to come to the map sometime soon among other things related to the king of Wakanda.
The point of interest seems like it will be called the Panther Monument and will come to the southern point of the map just to the left of Misty Meadows. It also seems there may be a good chance that players will get a Black Panther skin as the season continues, as sound files from the game have been found that reference the kinetic absorption abilities of the Black Panther suit. This seems plausible, as many of the new Marvel skins have abilities, like how visiting Jennifer Walters’ office in Fortnite allows players to transform into She-Hulk.
It’s customary at this point to mention that these are still leaks, but HypeX’s track record for accuracy has been incredibly high this season so fans should expect to see Black Panther in Fortnite soon enough. While it’s unclear when exactly the Black Panther content will come to Fortnite, fans realistically won’t have to wait too long. Plus, seeing as the season only just started, fans will have plenty of content to get through first like discovering all the Fortnite Season 4 Marvel map changes. Additionally, there are plenty of challengers to complete with other Marvel skins like Thor, Groot, and the previously mentioned Jennifer Walters skin.
All in all, the Fortnite and Marvel Nexus War event is shaping up to be one of the biggest events the game has seen so far. There’s plenty of to do and see now that the season is in full swing. There are secrets littering that map that fans are still discovering now. Hopefully, Epic Games continues to deliver as the season progresses.
Fortnite is out now for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions also in development.
