If things had gone the way Microsoft had hoped they would, we’d all be playing Halo Infinite right now. They didn’t, however, and what was supposed to be a flagship Xbox Series X/S launch title got delayed to 2021. It’s been some time since that delay, and we haven’t really heard anything about the game since then.
343 Industries, however, have promised that they’ll be sharing a major new update on the game soon, while recently they talked about a year-end update. Speaking recently on Twitter, 343 Industries community director Brian Jarrard spoke about that once more, saying, “We certainly have some things we’re overdue on and eager to talk about.” Jarrard then added that the studio is currently “in the process of pulling together a year-end update.”
In another tweet, Jarrard admitted that 2020 has been a tough year, but added that though no update is going to satisfy every fan, 343 still hopes to turn things around. “We just ask for bit of patience and understanding,” he concluded.
Halo Infinite is due out sometime in 2021 for the Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC.
Btw yes I’m aware we could help solve this with real news. We certainly have some things we’re overdue on and eager to talk more about. We’re in the process of pulling together a year-end update.

No update is going to satisfy everyone. We want to turn the corner as 2020 comes to an end and leave the challenges of this year behind us and look ahead to 2021. We are committed to bringing you along on this journey, we just ask for bit of patience and understanding.
