Halo Infinite Leak Includes Weapons And Vehicles

More and more information continues to leak about Halo Infinite, including news that Master Chief will be customizable and a part of the game's multiplayer.

The hype for Halo Infinite continues to ramp up as those hungry for a new installment in Xbox's biggest series remain hopeful the game will be here before the end of 2021. Infinite was supposed to launch alongside the Xbox Series X|S but, as has been the case with so many games over the course of the past 18 months, its release date was pushed back.

Fast forward almost an entire year and both official and unofficial avenues continue to signify Infinite is just about ready to go. The most recent unofficial avenue comes courtesy of Twitter account NewHaloLeaks and there is a lot to digest. A list of what weapons will be included, the vehicles that will make the cut, something the game's technical test was lacking, and which multiplayer modes will be available.

As highlighted by some disgruntled Halo fans who have seen the leaks, they don't seem to be exhaustive. There's no mention of the Mantis which would be surprising after it made an appearance on a Free Guy poster earlier this month. There's also no mention of boats or Pelicans in the vehicles list. The lists might only be ready for launch with more coming later, or could simply still be incomplete at this point.

Aside from the long lists of weapons and vehicles, one of the more interesting leaks pertains to Master Chief. Halo's leading Spartan will not only be playable in Infinite's multiplayer, but it appears he will be customizable. The multiplayer version of Infinite's Master Chief has different textures to the campaign version, hinting that you will be able to make your Master Chief unique to you.

As for when we can get confirmation of all this and more by playing Infinite ourselves, a release date is still yet to be confirmed. 343 Industries has revealed it will be running another technical preview before the big day arrives, though. The date of that preview is yet to be announced, but it will include Infinite's 4v4 and big team battle.
