Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is back in September with a full calendar of events to keep players busy. In order to keep up player activity as the fall approaches, Niantic is making sure to present some exciting events full of rewards that will be too tempting to pass up. Many parts of the world have removed lockdown orders and are now recommending safe social distancing at this point, but the mobile AR going is remaining play-at-home friendly for the time being, which means many event bonuses are active longer than usual and there are some other convenient features, as well.
The summer turned out to be a very successful one for Niantic, despite the global pandemic. Some quick adjustments to spawns and event rules later both Pokemon GO and the Harry Potter universe inspired mobile AR game are both seeing just as much player activity and spending as ever before. Either way, each week of September should have something for Wizards Unite players to look forward to as the usual lineup of events once again rotate through Harry Potter: Wizards Unite with some new bonuses and Foundables for players to enjoy.

As expected, this month’s Brilliant Event is broken into two parts like usual and there will be a Wizarding Weekend and a Community Day, as well. It should be a busy, but typical month for Wizards Unite players. Just like last month, there will be lots of opportunities for players to put their SOS training to good practice.
“The Calamity appears to be behind a surge of Foundables from the Department of Mysteries, casting enigmatic secrets from the Ministry of Magic out into the open. Your help is needed to keep Ministry secrets safe and discover the origins of the mercurial motivations behind the Calamity!”
Friday, September 4 at 11 a.m. PT – Monday, September 7 at 11 a.m. PT
Spend a weekend rounding up Magizoology Foundables including Unicorns and Newt Scamander.
Tuesday, September 8 at 11 a.m. PT – Tuesday, September 15 at 11 a.m. PT
Help return Brilliant Foundables from the Room of Rooms including the Veil and Tank of Brains.
All day Saturday, September 19 from 12:01 a.m. – 11:59 p.m. local time
Make sure your paperwork is in order and step inside the Ministry Atrium where you can encounter Ministry Officials, Flocks of Interdepartmental Memos and more.
Tuesday, September 22 at 11 a.m. PT – Tuesday, September 29 at 11 a.m. PT
Help return Brilliant Foundables from the Hall of Prophecy including Prophecy Orbs and Harry Potter.
It’s always a possibility that additional events and other special surprise bonuses may pop up as the month progresses, but this is everything that players should be able to plan ahead for. Be sure to log into the game daily to keep streaks going, check in on the current bonuses, and keep an eye out for iconic Harry Potter foundables. Keep an eye on the the in-game news to see if any big surprises drop this month. PoGO just received some major new features, so perhaps Niantic has something in the works for Wizards Unite fans, as well.
